Eliza Morris

Middle School Science

Eliza Morris is from Long Island, NY, but spent most of her teenage years in the beautiful state of Kentucky where she participated in track and cross country since 5th grade. After moving to Idaho for college, she fell in love with the West and all the outdoor activities. Trail running is probably her favorite. She enjoys running with the local running clubs in Southeast Idaho, participating in road and trail races, and volunteering at local races. When she is not running, Eliza enjoys cooking, organizing, hiking, backpacking, learning new things, and just about anything outdoors!

Eliza attended BYU-Idaho and received a degree in Public Health.  During her studies, she signed up for Chemistry as an elective and loved the subject so much she tutored for the rest of college. These experiences changed her career path to where she has been teaching Math, Chemistry, and Physics for the past three years.

Eliza enjoys helping students follow their natural curiosities and learn about how the world around them works. She is excited to be at APA learning and working with students to be critical thinkers, increase their confidence, and help make science relevant and exciting!
