Jade Parsons is a new transplant from Mesa, Arizona. She graduated from Red Mountain High school and served an LDS mission in Alabama. After her mission she completed her bachelors in English from BYU-I. She then pursued a graduate degree in English, which she received from Southern New Hampshire University.

 Jade loves reading, writing, and the smell of a new hardback book. She has a deep appreciation for Medieval Literature and Harry Potter.  She also loves learning and trying new things, especially when it comes to food. She loves being outdoors, now even more so that she is in Idaho and not hot Arizona.

 For the past 3 years Jade has been teaching at a charter school in Arizona. Jade is extremely excited to be continuing her educator journey at Alturas Preparatory Academy. New experiences and challenges make life rich and rewarding, and she is excited to grow and learn with the students and be a part of their journey.
